Medalogix is currently seeking hungry, humble, and smart Azure Architect to join our technology innovators that are bringing home health and hospice to the next level.
The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the SaaS product cloud environments at Medalogix. Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure & Operations, this position will help the continued build out and maturing of our next-generation, cloud-native product platforms as well as harden our operational practices across all platforms ensuring stability and availability. The candidate will join the current Cloud Engineering group bringing additional skills and experiences that further elevate our team. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build out additional product platforms as required to meet the needs of our product delivery, leveraging a cloud native architecture and modern technology stack
- Collaborate and support the product delivery teams in the creation of new & upgraded product environments
- Continued operational oversight of our existing environments ensuring we maintain a highly available, scalable, and resilient product platform.
- Develop high quality cloud assets with a holistic product mindset (ease of use, functional, performant, available)
- Elevate and support our Agile development practices with a specific focus on team execution, continuous improvement, quality
- Contribute to the improvement of our development tools and practices including CI/CD, quality, security, performance, etc.
- Help support current products and platforms ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support and enhance our collaborative and innovative team culture that spans the organization
- Mentor, challenge, and grow your peers on the Medalogix technology team.
- Support the Medalogix production systems through support and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Experience building SaaS products in an Azure cloud environment that is multi-tenant and highly scalable
- Experience with Azure networking – vnets, NSGs, ASGs, private endpoints/links, etc.
- Experience with Azure Identity – AAD, Azure B2C, etc.
- Experience with Azure PaaS offerings – ASPs, Functions, AKS, ACR, ACI, Storage, Azure SQL, etc.
- Experience with Azure IaC technologies such as ARM, Terraform, Bicep, etc.
- Experience with Azure Monitoring and Governance – Blueprints, Policies, Monitor, Purview, Application Insights, Sentinel
- Experience building secure systems with Managed identities, AKV, etc.
- Experience with Azure CLI and PowerShell
- Experience in web frontend and backend technology
- Expertise in agile methodologies and related tools with a passion for team success and continuous improvement
- Knowledge in building out, configuring, and maintaining Airflow.
- Ability to translate product ideas into technical requirements
- Cloud computing technology experience including serverless, containers, storage architectures, security
- Highly desirable, experience in modernizing existing applications/instrumenting code to provide analysis for cloud monitoring
- Willingness to work in a highly collaborative, team-based culture
