Description

Learning Opportunity:

The intern will get hands on experience dealing with the royalty process. They will learn the basic functions of the royalty system and how royalties are processed quarterly.

Internship Description:

Perform data cleanup tasks.

Respond to royalty inquiries via phone and email.

Assist with compiling import spreadsheets.

Assist with putting together sales files and/or loading them into royalty system.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.     

Qualifications

Internship Requirements:

  • Formal Education: High school diploma, college level experience in Music Business or Business preferred.
  • Experience: Has a business background and able to handle large sets of data.
  • Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Has knowledge of various Excel formulas.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in Excel.

Internship Working Conditions: 

  1. Comfortable working conditions, working in office a few days out of the week but flexible for remote working
  2. Working environment – co-working spaces with some noise
  3. Detail-oriented work requiring mental acuity and accuracy
  4. Up to 20 hours a week during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
