A Day in the Life of Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic development & testing team working on our industry leading business optimization products. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around writing use cases and test cases, developing and executing both manual and automated tests. You will own creation, documentation, and execution of test cases across all systems. Embracing a highly collaborative agile scrum methodology you will be deeply involved in the QA process from initiation to delivery. Working closely with business analysts, developers, scrum masters and product owners you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional quality of our software products.

Collaborate with a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, dedicated to enhancing core functionality and delivering exceptional products to our end customers.
Ensure availability during US hours (till 12:00 PM EDT/EST) for seamless team collaboration.
Develop comprehensive use cases and test cases aligned with product requirements and functional specifications.
Execute a range of tests including functional, smoke, regression, ad-hoc, and End-to-End Testing to validate product integrity.
Contribute to the formulation of a robust test strategy aimed at enhancing cross-departmental collaboration and refining QA processes.
Efficiently document and prioritize identified defects using JIRA or relevant systems, considering their criticality.
Champion the automation of the Regression Test suite, minimizing the need for human intervention with each release.
Showcase strong organizational prowess by effectively managing multiple tasks within demanding schedules, with a focus on prioritizing defects based on urgency.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative spirit, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
