Job description

How you will help

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Product Marketing Director to plan, develop, craft and implement the content strategy for HealthVerity. As the lead creator of content, this position works in collaboration with many departments including Marketing, Sales, Product and Research / Analytics.

 

What you will do

  • Serve as the written voice for our pharmaceutical manufacturer, government and payer facing clients. 
  • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing, case studies, presentation content and web copy
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with HealthVerity’s tone and mission. You write clean, concise, well-polished and provocative copy
  • Lead research to drive thought leadership that fuels white papers, webinars, press, awareness, and enhances the reputation of HealthVerity as a thought leader and information resource
  • Work closely with the Marketing team for collaborative content delivery across all digital channels - social, blog, email, paid and partners. 
  • Implement SEO best practices in web content to increase traffic to our website 
  • Manage the HealthVerity editorial calendar and written guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, competitor’s positioning and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar
  • Help assess the suitability of new social platforms if relevant
  • Collaborate with the Design team to produce video, graphics and collateral to accompany content. 

 

Required skills and experience

  • Healthcare / Life sciences industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
  • 5+  years of digital marketing and content marketing work in a collaborative B2B environment
  • Strong research, writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience/consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Experience managing KPIs and tracking effectiveness of content distribution. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to inform copy and make adjustments based on their input 
  • Confident, enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated  ability to use initiative and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Experience with HubSpot and WordPress

 

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $70,000 - 110,000 + annual bonus opportunity.

 
 
Hiring Locations

Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.

For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.

Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
