About The Role:

We are seeking a Private Wealth Planner to join our team as a key player in delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies to our clients.

This is a client-servicing role, focused on deepening relationships, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring clients receive exceptional, high-touch service that aligns with their personal and business goals.

As a Private Wealth Planner at Kilter Group, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement financial plans, incorporating investment management, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, and retirement strategies. You will be responsible for guiding clients through complex financial decisions, ensuring their portfolios and overall financial plans align with both their short-term and long-term objectives.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the firm’s investment and operations teams ensuring seamless execution of financial plans while staying informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

What You Are Responsible For:

  • Develop and implement customized financial plans aligned to clients’ unique goals.
  • Analyze investment portfolios and provide recommendations tailored to risk tolerance and objectives.
  • Guide clients through tax-efficient strategies, retirement planning, and wealth preservation techniques.
  • Collaborate with estate planning professionals to ensure comprehensive trust, will, and legacy planning.
  • Conduct ongoing portfolio and financial plan reviews, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Educate clients on financial strategies and decision-making through clear, transparent communication.
  • Leverage the firm’s CRM to document all client meetings, track follow-ups, and enhance collaboration.
  • Maintain the highest compliance standards, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation required.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, investment management, or wealth advisory.
  • Knowledge of eMoney required; including but not limited to modeling within decision center and upholding data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Excellent ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients.
  • Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to improving accuracy of data and preventing errors.
  • Proven ability to deliver extraordinary client service through professional excellence, the highest ethical standards, and the effective use of available resources
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment while maintaining high accountability.


Preferred but Not Required:

  • Experience with portfolio reporting and CRM systems, such as Tamarac, Orion, or Black Diamond.
  • Experience with alternative investments.
  • Life and Health Insurance License.
