We are a global remote company with an HQ in Miami, Florida.
QuickNode is looking for a proactive, results-driven Infrastructure (FinOps) Analyst to spearhead efforts that reduce operational waste and optimize spending across our bare metal and cloud environments. This role is focused on leveraging existing systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. Utilize & Enhance Existing Systems:
Act as the primary user of existing reporting, budgeting, and anomaly alerting systems.
Provide input and feedback to our technical engineering team to ensure these systems effectively capture and report on key metrics.
Monitor resource utilization and spending, identifying areas for improvement.
Proactive Monitoring & Coordination:
Leverage current alerting systems to proactively monitor operational performance and detect inefficiencies.
Collaborate with resource owners across the organization to address and remediate identified issues.
Escalate concerns when necessary to ensure accountability and timely resolution.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the liaison between finance, operations, and technical teams to drive initiatives that improve margins and reduce waste.
Facilitate regular reviews and discussions with key stakeholders to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Operational Waste Reduction:
Identify patterns of wasteful spending and work with relevant teams to develop actionable plans for improvement.
Support the ongoing evaluation of cost-saving measures, ensuring initiatives are tracked and measured against budgetary goals.
Contribute to proactive capacity planning, ensuring efficient resource management in line with operational needs.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about best practices in FinOps and operational efficiency.
Recommend process improvements that streamline reporting, budgeting, and anomaly detection practices.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated experience in operational monitoring, cost analysis, or infrastructure management.
Proven experience using modern reporting tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or similar platforms to build, interpret, and analyze reports that drive operational decision-making.
Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting; SQL knowledge is a plus for extracting and managing data, though not required.
Prior exposure to FinOps is a plus, but the ability to learn quickly and drive process improvements is most important.
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from existing systems to inform business decisions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical, operational, and financial teams.
Ability to translate technical details into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management & Problem-Solving:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and follow through to successful completion.
A proactive, determined mindset with a focus on problem resolution and process enhancement.
Interest in Blockchain
The Canada base salary range and level for this position are $117,070 - $130,078 per year and level P3. Other International ranges, in local currency, will be discussed during the hiring process with applicable candidates. This role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to company and individual goal achievement. We consider years of experience, level of proficiency in job function, the technical competencies required and location when determining base salary ranges for positions and levels.
