Job description

Senior Product Manager

Who we are

We’re doxy.me (doc-see-me), the world's most loved telemedicine solution, and we're on a mission to connect the world to the future of healthcare.

We believe that cost and complexity should never be a barrier to telemedicine. That’s why we created a simple, free, and secure telemedicine platform. Since 2013, we’ve grown to more than 1 million healthcare providers from 180+ countries who have clocked over 8 billion minutes of telemedicine sessions to date.

Our goal is to deliver the future of healthcare to every patient and healthcare professional on earth. Help us get there by joining our team of innovators, dreamers, and doers.

We’re a remote-first company with regional hubs for in-person collaboration (Austin, TX, Boston, MA, Charleston, SC, Salt Lake City, UT, and London, UK).

Who you are

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive innovation in our Practice Management team, building the essential tools that help medical practices operate seamlessly as businesses.

You’ll own and develop critical SaaS services like authentication and authorisation, billing integrations, analytics, and more - ensuring providers and clinical teams can access our platform effortlessly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, loves working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and wants to make a real impact on how clinicians run their practices.

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, product marketing, security, and customer-facing teams to drive product strategy, oversee the development process, and manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.

What you’ll do

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap

    • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Practice Management, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.

    • Identify key challenges in clinical practice management such as access control and authentication, and other needs, balancing security, usability, and flexibility for different customer segments.

    • Stay ahead of industry trends in identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and security best practices.

  • Requirements Gathering and Prioritization

    • Gather feedback from customers, support teams, and internal stakeholders to define feature requirements.

    • Work closely with enterprise customers to understand complex access control needs, such as SCIM, SAML, and custom role hierarchies.

    • Prioritize initiatives based on impact, technical feasibility, and alignment with company goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with engineering to ensure a scalable and efficient implementation of user roles, permissions, and authentication workflows.

    • Partner with third party services to deliver embedded SaaS capabilities around auth & auth, billing, analytics and more.

    • Work with security and compliance teams to ensure features meet data protection, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product marketing to create intuitive experiences for managing users, groups, and access rights.

  • Product Execution and Delivery

    • Define and maintain clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

    • Work with engineering teams in Agile sprints to deliver and iterate on new features.

    • Lead beta programs and gather customer feedback to improve adoption and usability.

  • Metrics and Continuous Improvement

    • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of user management features (e.g., adoption rate, permission-related support tickets, security incidents).

    • Conduct usability testing and data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement.

    • Drive continuous enhancements to make user access management more seamless, flexible, and secure.

Your skills and experience

  • Comfort with ambiguity and breaking down complex problems

  • Capable of synthesizing unstructured data and inputs to inform prioritization decisions

  • Experience conducting interviews with customers to uncover product opportunities

  • Drive to understand underlying problems, test assumptions, and iterate on solutions

  • Strong written and in-person communication skills, and are comfortable presenting in large groups

  • Diligent with documenting and building shared understanding with all team members

  • Takes initiative to drive projects forward within a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with managing large cross-functional projects with technical depth

  • Experience integrating with third-party vendors and making buy vs. build decisions

  • Experience with Healthcare, and the unique needs and challenges with data and compliance

  • Experience managing user authentication, access control, or identity

  • Familiarity with IAM protocols such as OAuth, SAML, SCIM, and JWT

  • Strong technical understanding of RBAC, permission models, and user provisioning

  • Experience working with engineering teams in an Agile environment

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive product decisions

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
