Position Overview: 

Champions Funding LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Correspondent Regional Sales Executive to join our team in the non-QM (Non-Qualified Mortgage) lending market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with correspondent lenders, promoting non-QM loan products, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the non-QM lending landscape, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our loan offerings to potential clients. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and pursue new correspondent lender relationships to expand the company’s non-QM loan portfolio in the assigned region. Cultivate leads, generate opportunities, and close new business with correspondent lenders. 
  • Educate and advise correspondent lenders on non-QM loan products, including but not limited to bank statement loans, DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio) loans, and other alternative lending options. Assist in determining the best product offerings based on lender needs. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed production goals. Proactively reach out to lenders and network within the industry to increase brand awareness and sales. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing correspondent lenders to drive repeat business. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions, concerns, and providing ongoing support throughout the loan process. 
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes within the non-QM lending market to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Work closely with the Client Experience Champion team to coordinate customer approvals, to assist in the loan acquisition process and to manage the client relationship.  Also partner closely with the underwriting, operations and secondary marketing teams to ensure smooth and efficient loan processes. Act as a liaison between the sales team and internal departments to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and market feedback. 
  • Collaborate with lenders to negotiate terms, pricing, and conditions for non-QM loan products. Ensure all transactions are in line with company and investor guidelines. 
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new correspondent lenders. Provide ongoing product training and support to ensure they understand and are confident in selling our non-QM offerings. 



Requirements

 Skills & Competencies: 

  • 3+ years of experience in correspondent sales, mortgage sales, or business development within the non-QM lending market. 
  • Strong understanding of non-QM loan products, including bank statement loans, DSCR loans, and other alternative lending options. 
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, generating leads, and closing deals in a competitive market. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain loan products and services to clients via phone, video conferencing and in-person meetings 
  • Ability to address client issues or challenges proactively and find creative solutions to drive business and maintain strong client satisfaction. 
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending software, loan origination systems (LOS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Encompass, Calyx, or other similar platforms is a plus. 
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to balance customer needs and company objectives. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales goals.
