Role Overview
  • FreedomPay is seeking a results-driven, German-speaking Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and expand our presence within Germany and the DACH region. This role will focus on acquiring new clients, building strong partnerships, and deepening relationships with existing partners and customers. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in the payments industry with a strong understanding of the German and DACH market landscape to deliver tailored solutions and exceed revenue targets.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries such as retail, hospitality, and F&B within Germany and the DACH region.
  • Actively engage in networking events, conferences, and other forums to expand FreedomPay’s presence in the region.
  • Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business challenges and positioning FreedomPay’s solutions as strategic enablers of growth.
  • Sales Cycle Management
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations to contract negotiations and deal closures.
  • Deliver impactful product demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of clients in the region.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development
  • Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitive activity within the German and DACH payments landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies specific to the region.
  • Partner Ecosystem Development
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners and identify synergies to drive joint business opportunities.
  • Leverage partner networks for lead generation and collaborative client solutions.
  • Customer Success and Retention
  • Ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for new clients.
  • Foster long-term partnerships by providing excellent service and driving repeat business.

  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven Sales Track Record
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex payment solutions within the German and DACH market, with a deep understanding of regional sales processes and customer expectations.
  • Industry Expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of the payments industry, including emerging trends, regulations, and key players specific to Germany and the DACH region.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and build trust at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic Business Acumen
  • Ability to understand client needs and tailor FreedomPay’s solutions to address their unique requirements, delivering measurable results.
  • Language Proficiency
  • Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Travel Flexibility
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Germany and the DACH region to meet clients, partners, and attend key industry events.
