Job description

The Role 

Wpromote’s Agency Marketing team is seeking a proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented Senior Manager to support the sales team in the RFP and pitch process. Reporting to the Senior Director of New Business Content, this role requires a confident communicator who can craft compelling storytelling in RFP responses and visually engaging pitch decks. The Senior Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and subject matter experts to showcase Wpromote’s unique value proposition through innovative design and impactful messaging.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $75,000- $95,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

You Will Be
  • Developing a deep understanding of Wpromote’s brand, positioning, services, and tech to act as a key conduit between sales and marketing
  • Producing custom proposals, RFP responses, and sales decks for new and existing business, including design, content creation, and sourcing responses
  • Serving as the primary liaison between Wpromote’s private equity (PE) team and marketing, owning all materials and deliverables related to PE partnerships and initiatives
  • Seeking out and evaluating AI tools and other ways to streamline processes and find efficiencies
  • Collaborating effectively with marketing, sales, strategists, and subject matter experts to create high-quality materials in short time frames
  • Setting clear expectations and managing and moving between multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently without missing a step
  • Working directly with agency leaders and executives on high-priority projects and deliverables supporting the sales and upsell/cross-sell process
  • Analyzing the results of sales pitches to generate learnings and staying ahead of current trends and best practices in visual storytelling, the industry, and agency positioning to keep materials up-to-date and maximize the impact

  • You Must Have
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales and/or marketing position
  • Experience managing or contributing to new business pitches/RFPs
  • Proficiency working in Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets
  • Basic knowledge of working in Adobe Photoshop
  • High level of attention to detail and expert-level visual storytelling abilities in deck formats
  • Strong writing skills, including editing and proofing
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and media and desire to continuously learn in a fast-changing industry
  • Multitasking, time management, communication, and project management skills, especially a proactive approach to hitting deadlines and staying ahead of tasks
  • Ability to gracefully give, receive, and incorporate feedback
