Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Would you love to experience the full startup journey while doing what you do best — bringing order to chaos and ensuring efficiency? Well, look no further — BRUNA is waiting for you as their new Organizational Generalist!

In this position, you’ll be responsible for anything related to admin, people, legal, and accounting. While the role is highly diverse, dynamic, and challenging, we don’t expect you to have years of experience in all of these areas. However, we do expect you to be ambitious and growth-driven, with a positive, can-do attitude. You should also be able to juggle multiple unknowns while paving the way for future success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement organizational experiences that support a high-performance team, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company values and goals.
  • Ensure our remote team is set up for success by organizing, maintaining, and supporting our IT infrastructure, including Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations, using Personio and other relevant software.
  • Create an outstanding onboarding and offboarding experience for team members by coordinating the process from start to finish.
  • Provide proactive, independent support to the team with administrative and organizational tasks in day-to-day operations.
  • Manage schedules, meetings, correspondence, and overall administrative processes efficiently.
  • Oversee legal matters, including contract management, compliance requirements, and data protection.
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and presentations for management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with budget planning, cost control, payroll processing, and invoice reviews to ensure financial and tax compliance.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations to build a talented and diverse team.
  • Foster a positive work environment by organizing team activities, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives, tailored to a remote-first culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement by researching new ideas and proactively sharing suggestions for growth.
YOUR BACKGROUND
  • Administrative Experience: A degree in Law, HR, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 2–3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Startup Dynamics: You thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of startups. You can prioritize effectively and stay on top of your tasks, even in the face of constant change.
  • Remote-First Mindset: You’re a strong advocate for remote work and fully recognize the benefits of asynchronous, proactive communication using tools like Asana, Slack, Loom, and Google Workspace.
  • Can-Do Attitude & Growth Mindset: You approach challenges with positivity and a proactive mindset. You take initiative, drive solutions, and take full ownership of your tasks to ensure continuous progress.
  • Collaborative & Team-Oriented: You have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting others, thriving in environments where daily communication is key.
  • Transparency & Curiosity: You’re not afraid to acknowledge gaps in knowledge, are open to learning, and actively seek solutions. You value transparent communication to foster trust and collaboration within the team.
  • Interest in Innovation: You’re genuinely curious about exploring new ideas, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our People & Culture experience. You’re open to experimenting with new approaches and adapting them to fit BRUNA.
  • Languages: You’re fluent in both English and German.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Growth and Ownership: Join a team where individuals have the chance to take ownership and actively contribute to the growth of BRUNA. Your efforts will directly shape the trajectory of our company, empowering you to play a pivotal role in our journey.
  • Culture of Empowerment and Openness: Experience a workplace culture founded on empowerment, trust, and transparency. We believe in hiring exceptional individuals and empowering them to excel in their roles. Open communication and information sharing are encouraged, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Alignment with Our Values: Our values are at the heart of everything we do. Expect to work in an environment where learning and growth are prioritized, teamwork is celebrated, ownership is encouraged, and transparency is valued. We're committed to progress over perfection, putting the team first, owning the outcome, and telling the story behind our responsible jewelry practices.
  • Investment in Your Growth: We're committed to your professional development. Benefit from access to a coach, dedicated development budget, and numerous opportunities to expand your skills.
  • Flexibility and Trust: Being a fully remote team, we're dedicated to being a flexible employer. We understand that your best work may happen outside of traditional office settings, and we trust you to manage your time and environment effectively.
  • High Bar for Hiring, Strong Focus on Culture: High Bar for Hiring, Strong Focus on Culture: We take our hiring process seriously, ensuring we maintain a high standard while also prioritizing individuals who are passionate about delivering their best work and winning as a team.
