Head of SEO - iGaming (Bucharest or Remote in Romania)

Our client is a well-funded iGaming startup making a strong impact in the Romanian market. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on digital excellence, they are looking for a Head of SEO to lead their organic growth strategy and enhance their online visibility. As the Head of SEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance user engagement. You will work closely with content, marketing, and development teams to implement best SEO practices tailored to the iGaming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive traffic and player acquisition.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits to identify growth opportunities.
• Optimize website structure, on-page content, and metadata for search engine visibility.
• Lead the link-building strategy to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO with content marketing efforts.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using analytics and SEO tools.
• Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and iGaming industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of iGaming SEO tactics, keyword strategy, and compliance requirements.
• Languages: Fluency in English & Romanian is required.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools.
• Content & Link-Building Expertise: Ability to craft and oversee SEO-driven content strategies.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret SEO data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
