Job role

The GIM Expert is responsible for supporting the Operational Resilience Manager in implementing the Global Incident Management process on a global level, but is also supporting the incident (IT and non-IT) management process.
 


What you will do

  • Global Incident Management Governance: as the GIM expert part of the Global Protection & Resilience team, you will be supporting the Operational Resilience Manager
  • Offer a unique mix of consultancy & operational services for Global Incident Management offered to clients globally
  • Ensure internal regulatory compliance on incident management process implementation and execution, and annual training delivery.
  • Ensure proper coordination and communication between the converging P&R domains (GIM, BCM, CM etc.)
  • Analysis and consolidation of the implementation progress in Allianz Services hubs for Global Incident Management.
  • Support the incident monitorization, identification, classification, and coordination.
  • Coordinate quarterly the Operational Threat Assessment for all Allianz Services locations, compile the data on the global level, and report the results to Allianz Group.
  • Prepare, revise, and maintain relevant documentation for the Global Incident Management process.
  • Support the development of risk awareness campaigns (training material, infographics, etc.)

 

What you bring

  • University degree
  • Proven experience in incident management, crisis response, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with DORA regulations and requirements would be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of incident response protocols.
  • Ideally holder of recognized qualification and certification in Protection & Resilience
  • Ability to analyze data and extrapolate relevant information, identify problem root causes and think creatively for solutions
  • Entrepreneurial with strong collaboration skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results and takes ownership of initiatives
  • Technical understanding of IT tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office – especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent English is necessary, knowledge of German or other languages is a plus
