Role Purpose
  • Leading the Site Strategic Procurement team to reduce costs and drive value of bought out products and services across the accountable Site(s)
  • Leading the Site Indirect Procurement organisation to ensure on-time delivery and right first time quality of indirect goods and services for accountable Site(s)
  • Development of strategies to achieve Site Procurement/Programme cost challenges. Coordination of the Global Commodity team to drive initiatives
  • Leading and influencing a cross functional team of Finance, Programmes and Global Commodity to create and execute the accountable Site(s) Procurement Budget
Job Responsibilities
  • Accountable for developing and executing Procurement strategies for the Site(s), including sourcing strategies to achieve Business Line targets
  • Accountable for the Site Procurement Budget development and execution
  • Accountable for communication with internal and external stakeholders for status of all cost initiatives associated with Site Procurement
  • Responsible for ensuring the Procurement Projects team are enabled and resourced to deliver cost initiative projects
  • Accountable for the development and execution of a “should cost” strategy for bought out components associated with the Site
  • Accountable for Procurement deliverables for the Site Make vs Buy strategy
  • Accountable for the supplier segmentation strategy for the site
  • Accountable for contract management of site lead contracts
  • Accountable for data consolidation of site supplier contracts. Including key terms and KPIs to ensure contracts are managed effectively within the Site Procurement team
  • Accountable for the development and execution of a data suite to drive data lead site Procurement strategies
  • Accountable for the strategy and operational performance of the Site Indirect Procurement team
     
Essential
  • BSc degree, or equivalent in a Business, Engineering, or Science discipline
  • MCIPS or equivalent body chartership in Procurement excellence
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience
  • Proven track record of building and executing supplier sourcing strategies 
  • Previous experience with an international supply base
  • A demonstrated ability to build relationships across a global supply chain 
  • A track record of Leadership to work with cross functional teams
     
Desirable
  • Aerospace sector experience
  • Contract mangement experience
  • Should Cost modelling experience
