How you will contribute:

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic software development team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will work closely with developers to enhance system reliability and automating operational tasks, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Reliability Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our software applications.
  • Incident Management: Respond to production issues, diagnose problems, and take corrective actions to restore service and prevent recurrence.
  • Monitoring & Metrics: Develop and implement monitoring solutions to maintain visibility into the health of systems and applications, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and establish CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and operational workflows.
  • Set, Follow, and Revise Standards: Evangelize technical standards, communicate with other teams, and adjust for growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to onboard new services, provide operational guidance, and ensure seamless integration into production environments.
  • Capacity Planning: Participate in capacity planning and demand forecasting to ensure systems can handle growth and peak loads.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for processes, systems architecture, and incident response protocols.
  • Performance Optimization: Partner with QA team to analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize resources and enhance application speed. 

 

Qualifications:

●     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

●     Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps engineer, or in a similar role.

●     Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

●     Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

●     Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

●     Familiarity with monitoring tools and technologies (e.g., ELK Stack, Nagios, Datadog).

●     Solid understanding of networking concepts, databases, and system administration.

●     Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

 

Compensation

The base range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 annually, depending upon level of experience.
