Technical Recruiter

Job Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Work Location: 100% remote (Applicants must be residing in Canada)
Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm (EST)

POSITION OVERVIEW

SkySys headquartered in North Carolina, USA is searching for a Recruiter / Talent Sourcer for their offshore office based in Canada. The position will be supported by an experienced recruitment team who pro-actively recruit talent for the business that is generated through our sales activity. The resource will work alongside senior company management to come up with strategies to add more value to our clients. The qualified candidate will be sourcing/recruiting in the IT and Engineering industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruiting/Sourcing: identify potential candidates through a variety of techniques and tools.
• Establish rapport, build and maintain long-standing, meaningful relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
• Interview both client companies and candidates to thoroughly understand their needs, goals, and culture.
• Understand your niche market with the goal of becoming an expert in identifying talent in various industries.
• You'll manage the recruitment database and coordinate effective recruitment strategies /campaigns. Candidates are guided through the interview process all the way through the offer/acceptance stage.
• Sales/Account Management: Developing and maintaining clients/relationships in the local market.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2 to 5 years of recruitment and staffing industry experience.
• Sales experience (B2B) and networking experience is highly desired for this position.
• Experience as a recruiter at a recruiting firm/staffing agency both contract and direct hire.
• Experience working with US citizens, GC candidates, H1B, EAD and OPT, highly preferred
• Knowledge of searches on Job portals likes Dice, Monster, Career Builder, Indeed, Zip Recruiter etc., highly preferred
• Knowledge of Corp-to-Corp, 1099, W2.
• Exceptional organizational, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records/reports.
• Organizational skills are very important.
• Aggressive, results-oriented professional with good communication skills.
