About Nutrisense

Nutrisense is a cutting-edge health technology start-up on a mission to revolutionize nutrition, optimize metabolic health, and prevent chronic disease. By combining continuous glucose monitoring (CGMs), a user-friendly glucose and food-tracking app, and personalized virtual support from registered dietitians, we empower everyone, not just those with diabetes, to understand their unique responses to food, take control of their health and achieve their goals.

We're hiring an Operations Manager to join our Nutrition Team. This role will drive efficiency, scalability, and performance improvements across our 1099 dietitian workforce. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing processes that streamline workflows, optimize resources, and improve service delivery. You'll also collaborate across teams to ensure Nutrisenses services are cost-effective, efficient, and of the highest quality.

Our dietitian services product line is just a year old and growing rapidly each month. As Operations Manager, you will be critical in efficiently scaling this new service line.

This high-impact role sits at the intersection of operations and healthcare, offering the opportunity to shape processes that improve customer outcomes and support our mission of making metabolic health accessible to everyone.

We're looking for someone passionate about optimizing processes, analyzing data, and solving problems in a collaborative environment. If you're excited by challenges and thrive in a fast-paced startup setting, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

  • Streamline 1099 Dietitian Performance Workflows
    • Assess and refine workflows for dietitian onboarding, activation, compliance, and performance monitoring to maintain quality while driving efficiency improvements.
    • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes to enhance quality and service delivery.
    • Collaborate with Learning & Development and Clinical Excellence teams to align on best practices and training needs.
  • Drive Team Efficiency and Scalability
    • Analyze performance metrics and conduct audits to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve net margin.
    • Develop strategies to optimize workforce utilization and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
    • Lead projects to improve operational processes, ensuring systems and teams are prepared for growth.
  • Collaborating Across Departments
    • Work closely with teams like Customer Support, Product, and Analytics to address cross-functional challenges and ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, driving operational improvements across the organization.

We're looking for someone who:

  • 3+ years experience in operations, process improvement, or workforce management.
    • Bonus points for experience working with contractors, distributed teams, or scaling operations in a startup environment.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
    • Proficiency in Excel or similar tools is required. Familiarity with SQL or other data processing tools is a plus.
    • Skilled at using data to inform decisions, identify trends, and track progress toward goals.
  • Excels in process improvement and operational efficiency.
    • Proven ability to design, implement, and scale workflows that improve productivity and quality.
  • Is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
    • Comfortable taking projects from 0 to 1 and driving them forward with minimal direction.
    • Experience with change management and process implementation.
  • Has strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Excellent at collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting ideas to stakeholders.

Total Compensation Package For This Role Includes:

  • 100% Remote Environment - We encourage our employees to travel and experience life as they see fit
  • Flexible PTO
  • Benefits including medical, dental, and vision
  • 401k (non-matching)
  • Work From Home Reimbursement
  • Health & Fitness Reimbursement
  • Continuing Education Reimbursement
  • Nutrisense product discounts

Nutrisense has an organization-wide commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We strive to create a work environment where everyone has a sense of belonging. Individuals from historically underrepresented or underserved communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

We benchmark total compensation to industry standards, considering the candidate's experience, skill, and geographical location.
