The Senior Manager will lead the technical advisory and delivery arm of the Insurance Technology Consulting (ITC) practice, collaborating with complementary practices and driving growth and innovation in data management services and execution. This role combines technical leadership, business development, and client advisory capabilities to assist with our expansion beyond data transformation, migration, and statistical submission services.
What You'll Be DoingStrategic Leadership:Expand ITC services to include advanced Data Integration, BI, and AI solutions.Implement and advise on best practices for database development and integration using AI tools.Implement and advise on best practices for data governance using frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.Management & Administrative:Lead ITC staff and ensure timely, high-quality project deliveries.Hire and train new team members to support expanding capabilities.Develop proposals and statements of work aligned with client needs.Motivate and monitor ITC team performance, including productivity, work quality, client success, billing targets, and project profitability.Advisory & Consultative Services:Facilitate client workshops to assess needs and present solutions.Document and analyze solution requirements and workflows.Recommend process improvements and technologies to enhance client operations.Provide subject matter expertise in insurance reporting and data management.Project Management & Execution:Create accurate time and budget estimates and monitor progress.Manage risks and implement change orders as needed.Ensure high-quality work product standards.What You'll Bring to the TableBachelor's degree in business, data science, IT, or related discipline.Advanced degree preferred.Relevant professional certifications such as CDMP (DAMA), CIDM (IDMA), etc. a plus.Minimum of 10 years' work experience in a related fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in P&C insuranceMinimum of 3 years' experience in managementExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExpert knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Knowledge of insurance principles, processes, and supporting technologiesKnowledge of Agile project management principles, processes, and tools (Jira/Confluence, Wrike or similar)Knowledge of data management/integration tools (Talend, Dataiku, Informatica or similar)Knowledge of AI development support tools (GitHub Copilot, Devon.ai, ChatGPT Canvas or similar)Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with multiple simultaneous project streamsAbout Perr&Knight:
