We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Snowflake Expert Consultant to join our growing team. As a key member of our consulting practice, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions leveraging the Snowflake Data Cloud.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex data solutions on the Snowflake platform, considering performance, scalability, security, and cost-optimization.
Development & Implementation: Develop and implement Snowflake-based data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehousing solutions, and BI dashboards. Utilize best practices for data modelling, data transformation, and query optimization. Automate data workflows and processes using tools like Snow pipe, Streams, and Tasks.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Snowflake environments. Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query performance, data loading, and resource utilization
Client Engagement: Interact directly with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and present proposed solutions.
Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and share your Snowflake expertise through knowledge sessions, documentation, and code reviews.
Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features, releases, and best practices. Contribute to the development of our Snowflake practice.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence, with a significant focus on Snowflake for at least 7 years.
Snowflake Expertise: Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices. Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and performance tuning within the Snowflake environment.
Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with:
Snowflake (SnowSQL, Data Loading, Performance Optimization, Security)
Data warehousing concepts and methodologies
ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, dbt)
BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – specifically related to Snowflake integration
Consulting Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Certifications (Required): SnowPro Core Certification is a must(Link to be provided)
