The Fountainhead Group is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our FGI Family and support as a member of the Maintenance Team.

 

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of electrical systems for the company’s manufacturing equipment and facilities.

 

This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm plus .50 shift differential

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, setup, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment electrical and mechanical systems including but not limited to: robots, PLC’s, drilling, injection molding, blow molding, granulators, grinders, screen printers, and general purpose automated/manual machines.
  • Observe all prescribed and standard safety rules and regulations, and work within the confines of the hazardous material guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, Etc) and help assure compliance.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including air, water, heating, and other related services and its relationship to electrical power.
  • Order, inventory and organize required spare parts for plant equipment and critical work centers.
  • Troubleshoot tooling, equipment and processes to resolve technical and maintenance problems.
  • Promptly maintain/repair all safety and codes related aspects of FGI facilities.
  • Assist with manufacturing process improvements, cost reductions and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Minimize waste through set up reduction, scrap reduction, improved material and machine utilization.
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Individual must be highly motivated, organized and exhibit a sense of urgency.
  • All other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Remote Position: false Min Compensation : USD $25.00/Hr. Max Compensation : USD $29.00/Hr. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to automatic and manual assembly equipment
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with PLC programming
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
