We are looking for a Test Eng II who will:

CSG is looking for a Test Engineer II who is responsible for working on develop/maintenance/execute performance scripts for both API and UI products and also reviewing overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems by composing a slightly complex test plan script, executing the tests, documenting the results and analyzing the output.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance testing for API, UI, and backend products across multiple tracks, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive performance testing framework to standardize and improve testing practices.
  • Create new JMX scripts for identified endpoints requiring performance validation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing JMX scripts to reflect updated requirements and scenarios.
  • Execute performance test scripts on demand and during release cycles to validate system stability and scalability under load.
  • Capture, analyze, and interpret performance metrics to evaluate system health.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Present performance testing results, bottleneck analyses, and improvement recommendations to team members and stakeholders.

  • Reviews and analyzes overall architecture of slightly complex hardware, software, and networking systems by composing detailed test plan scripts ensuring proper requirements coverage, executing the tests, documenting the results, analyzing the output, root cause analysis and communicating results.
  • Develops an understanding of the feature’s requirements and how the features are used.
  • Plan and execute performance testing for API, UI, and backend products across various tracks to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute performance JMeter test scripts for API and UI-based products.
  • Perform manual performance test execution and issue resolution for backend products requiring manual intervention.
  • Manage performance testing efforts for multiple product releases within constrained timelines, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Prepare and validate test environments for performance testing, ensuring readiness before execution.
  • Conduct environment cleanup post-testing to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct multiple rounds of performance test executions, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Present comprehensive performance statistics and insights to team members and stakeholders for informed decision-making

  • Solid understanding of API, UI, and backend performance testing.
