About the Team: 

The Customer Operations team works closely with new and existing customers by implementing product features, managing the operational parts of the platform, and optimizing our client’s sales performance management processes. We are always ready to support and help our customers to identify ways they can unleash the revenue-driving potential of their sales compensation program.  

We’re currently hiring for foundational members for our Costa Rica team who will continue to scale our operational presence. If you’re passionate about data analytics and want to contribute to sales operations, we’d love to hear from you! 

What you’ll be doing: 

We are growing our Customer Operations team and seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our new team! You will configure commission data structures, create insightful reports, and work with data in various formats using Excel and SQL while managing databases. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the ongoing operations for a portfolio of existing customers and implement new features (i.e., rule building, process execution, reporting and dashboarding, and product support)
  • Support onboarding activities for new customers, including compensation plan rule building, data analysis, quality control, and interaction with key customer stakeholders  
  • Design projects including analysis, financial modelling, project planning, customer workshops, and presentation/recommendation of findings   
  • Scope, build and test automated workflows, processes and reporting capabilities to support automation of incentive compensation processes and improve business visibility
  • Build and maintain working relationships directly with customer stakeholders, ensuring our clients realize Forma.ai's full value 
  • Work with Forma.ai’s Product and Engineering teams to articulate customer feedback that informs the priority of new product features and to implement new platform features to support continuous improvement and automation 

What We’re Looking For: 

Our Data Analysts collect and analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that enhance sales performance and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include configuring commission structures, developing reports, and presenting findings clearly and accessibly. 

You’ll work closely with data engineers and sales teams, supporting proprietary databases, optimizing workflows, and creating dashboards to visualize key metrics. 

  • Preference for Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field with a quantitative focus
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative-focused, analytical role such as, data management, database development, data analysis, data science, business analytics
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a working knowledge of SQL; experience with databases is a plus
  • Advanced English proficiency required as this is a client facing role
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to present reports effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
