We have an exciting opportunity for a Settlement Coordinator with a leading national title and escrow company. Our client is one of the largest independent, full-service national title insurance and settlement agencies in the United States. The Settlement Coordinator is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
Coordinating all aspects of settlement for purchase and refinance files across various states.
Completing residential purchase and refinance real estate escrow transactions.
Serving as the point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction, including underwriters, clients and their respective counsel, lenders, brokers, and third-party vendors.
Ordering searches, reviewing, and clearing titles.
Confirming financial figures with all parties involved in the closing transactions.
Verbally confirm wiring instructions with parties when receiving funds.
Coordinating the disbursement of funds, maintaining escrow accounts, and processing daily payments and deposits.
Analyzing and reviewing Purchase/Sale and Escrow Agreements to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in title, settlement, or escrow services, with expertise in purchase and refinance transactions.
In-depth knowledge of title insurance, settlement processes, and real estate regulations.
Familiarity with TRID and RESPA requirements is essential.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Experience with SoftPro is preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
