Job description

Retail Director, USA Remote job opening for an individual who has been part of the growth of a $100MM-$500MM+ range in revenue size D2C/B2C consumer goods, sporting goods, performance training, coaching and apparel company, now launching B2C Retail.  If you are interested in health, wellness, fitness, sports, this job might be the best you've ever had (many of our clients are within those industries this GTM and online Operating Model plus B2BC distribution and retail). 

Our client term client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Retail to spearhead retail expansion and drive sales performance. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead a talented sales team, forge strong vendor relationships, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize our retail presence.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and inspire: Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing retail sales team.

  • Expand our reach: Develop and execute a strategic door expansion plan, identifying new retail opportunities and maximizing market penetration.

  • Build strong partnerships: Cultivate collaborative relationships with key vendors, ensuring seamless communication and joint business planning.

  • Analyze and optimize: Leverage SKU-level data and TURF analysis to drive inventory efficiency and maximize sales performance.
