Job description

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Munich (50% hybrid). This role focuses on designing and managing executive compensation structures, equity compensation plans, and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent while ensuring market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Management

  • Design and implement a competitive compensation philosophy, including salary structures, pay grades, and equity plans.
  • Lead executive compensation programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and market competitiveness.
  • Manage the merit increase and variable pay processes, aligning them with performance outcomes.
  • Benchmark pay practices to maintain market alignment.

Equity and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Programs

  • Develop and manage LTI programs to drive retention and alignment with organizational objectives.

Benefits Strategy

  • Develop and oversee global health, wellness, and ancillary benefits programs.
  • Conduct reviews to align benefits with employee needs and manage vendor partnerships.

Policy and Data Insights

  • Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data, providing actionable insights to leadership.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits roles, with proven experience in designing and managing equity compensation plans and executive compensation programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCP, GRP, or PHR/SPHR certifications are a plus.
