Job Summary:

The FF&E Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, supplier coordination, and ensuring the successful delivery of FF&E items for various projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire FF&E procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating delivery of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Conducting supplier and vendor meetings, negotiating terms, and establishing strong partnerships to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality.
  • Developing detailed FF&E schedules, budgets, and procurement plans for projects.
  • Evaluating and selecting FF&E items based on quality, functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and trends relevant to FF&E.
  • Reviewing and approving samples, prototypes, and mock-ups for furniture and fixtures.
  • Preparing and managing contracts, purchase orders, and payment schedules with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and installation of FF&E items, coordinating logistics and resolving any delivery issues.
  • Tracking project budgets and expenditures, ensuring procurement activities stay within approved limits.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Providing regular status updates and reports to senior management and project teams.


What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in FF&E, procurement, or a similar role in the interior design or fit-out industry.
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E specifications, materials, finishes, and market trends.
  • Proven experience in vendor and supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with international FF&E sourcing and logistics.
  • Experience working with fit-out or interior design projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and materials in FF&E.
