For a project with a well-known customer – one of the largest manufacturers and service providers in its industry – we, as an international IT service provider, are currently looking for a
DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) 

Hybride / Remote - Spain / Greece - Full-time  

About the Project

This initiative focuses on centralizing and streamlining digital product operations in building access control, with an emphasis on agility and scalability across global markets. The primary product, Agile Mobile (AM), provides touchless access through mobile (iOS and Android - MAUI Technology). The Agile Mobile Management Center (AMC - web application) acts as a central hub for managing users, devices, and access permissions, while integrated beacon technology enhances proximity-based interactions.

About the Role

The DevOps Engineer will work closely with a cross-functional team to implement continuous integration, maintain infrastructure, and manage scalability to support the product’s global rollout.

Your responsibilities
  • CI/CD Management: Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Agile Mobile and AMC platforms to ensure seamless deployment and efficient release cycles
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain IaC for Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring environments are consistent, scalable, and secure
  • Monitoring & Logging: Set up advanced monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Application Insights) to track performance, and end-to-end logging for proactive issue identification
  • L3 Support: Act as the third line of defense in troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving complex issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 teams
  • Automation & Efficiency: Create and manage automated scripts for deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning; optimize workflows for improved operational efficiency
  • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Develop support and operational documentation and participate in training sessions to ensure L1 and L2 support teams operate within defined standards

Your profile
  • CI/CD Proficiency: Strong experience with CI/CD tools, ideally within Azure DevOps, with an ability to streamline build and release pipelines
  • Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in deploying and managing applications using Azure App Service, securing and authenticating users with Microsoft Entra External ID (formerly Azure Active Directory B2C), and orchestrating APIs through Azure API Management
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Strong proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (such as Kubernetes) to manage, deploy, and scale microservices within a robust architecture
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for managing and automating Azure infrastructure
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools (Application Insights or similar) to manage performance and logging effectively
  • Database & API Management: Knowledge of managing databases (e.g., SQL, Azure storage) and API integration (RESTful services)
  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and experience with root cause analysis in complex environments
  • Collaborative Mindset: Effective teamwork and communication skills, comfortable in a dynamic, agile setting
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying process and operational improvements
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively under deadlines

Desired Experience
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, ideally within Azure DevOps, with an ability Previous experience in an L3 DevOps role, ideally supporting large-scale applications in a high-availability environment
  • Familiarity with mobile and web-based application environments and their deployment strategies
  • Background in agile frameworks such as Scrum and experience working with cross-functional teams
