About the Client

Our Client is an Austin, TX based start-up - a decentralized, user-friendly exchange platform, tailored for Dogecoin and its meta protocols. The product is designed to offer a streamlined and accessible trading experience, focusing on affordability and ease of use, particularly for retail users in the Dogecoin ecosystem. With a mobile-heavy approach and a strong emphasis on meme-fi and social capital, our Client plans to leverage the brand equity of Dogecoin and other meme coins to attract the next wave of crypto enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development:
Demonstrate strong knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks, understanding the pros and cons of competing stacks and their appropriate applications (e.g. Transtack, Start, Remix, NextJS).
Exibit robust back-end experience, including database management, cloud services, deployment strategies, and cost optimization. (Upstash, Neon, AWS, SST).
Proficient in multiple programming languages, particularly Go and TypeScript.

Technical Leadership:

Contribute to tasks outside of core competencies, such as UI/UX design and workflow optimization - comfortable with the design frameworks such as Figma, Miro, Xcalidraw.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and pivot when necessary without attachment to specific tech stacks.
Leverage AI and LLMs to enhance efficiency without rover-reliance (O1, Cursor, V0, dabbling with HuggingFace a plus).

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Full-stack Developer in fast-paced start-up environments.
Proficient in Go and TypeScript
Understanding of multiple blockchains and their mechanics. Being mentally flexible enough to switch between EVM, SVM, and UXTO.
Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks, such as Transtack, Start, Remix or NextJS and back-end technologies such as Go. Some Node.js knowledge and experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and database systems (PostGres, Upstash, Neon)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment principles (CI/CD pipelines, SST)
Usage of modern package management tools, like Bun
Good command of English language - you will be working with English-speaking team members
Ability to provide 5 hours of overlap with the team working in Austin, TX
