Our client is an upcoming Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specialising in delivering innovative electrical infrastructure solutions across the UK. As a trusted partner in the growing Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry, they design and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
With the rapid expansion of EV adoption, they are seeking a highly skilled ICP Project Manager to join their team and oversee the installation of EV charging infrastructure up to 11kV.
Project Planning & Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of EV charging infrastructure projects, from feasibility and design to commissioning and handover.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, DNOs, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and excellent relationship management.
Technical Oversight: Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure technical specifications and regulatory requirements (e.g., G99 compliance) are met.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to HSE regulations and company safety standards, conducting site inspections and risk assessments as required.
Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, prepare progress reports, and ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, escalating where necessary.
Qualifications:
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) is desirable.
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of HV and LV electrical systems, including 11kV connections.
Familiarity with ICP processes and DNO requirements.
Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., G99, BS7671, CDM Regulations).
