What You’ll Do
A clinical data strategist who will transform digital health data through advanced clinical logic, innovative digital platform design, and transformative healthcare technology integrations, with a core focus on value-based care outcomes, population health management, and evidence-based data insights. Under the supervision and direction of the AVP of Clinical Strategy, the Clinical Informatics & Outcomes Analyst performs the following roles and responsibilities:
Digital Health Innovation
- Drive next-generation clinical logic and rules engine development
- Design patient-centric digital health experiences
- Translate complex clinical workflows into scalable technology solutions
- Collaborate on FHIR based digital health record transformation,
- Provide advanced clinical subject matter expertise for product development
- Develop sophisticated clinical logic rules and algorithms
Population Health & Clinical Analytics
- Develop progressive data tracking methodologies for comprehensive population health management reports
- Design predictive risk stratification models
- Create longitudinal patient cohort analysis frameworks
- Implement value-based care strategies that optimize clinical outcomes through digital touchpoints
- Direct responsibilities to measure value (ROI, outcomes, etc) at the client level and in aggregate
- Translate clinical data outcomes into compelling publications (abstracts, white papers) and collaborate with marketing teams to inform strategic communications that support conference presentations and drive organizational storytelling across digital and marketing platforms.
Strategic Analytics
- Collaborate with data teams to accelerate the commercialization and scalability of our clinical analytics features/products.
- Develop predictive clinical performance models
- Implement digital quality measure frameworks
- Implement comprehensive risk stratification methodologies
- Generate actionable insights from complex healthcare datasets
- Generate proactive and personalized health insights strategies
Job Requirements
- Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of related clinical experience , ideally in an acute health care/managed care environment, digital product, healthcare informatics or healthcare data management.
- Clinical informatics or licensed clinician (e.g. RN, NP, MPH,MD)
- Experience in FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), Clinical Quality Language (CQL), USCDI standards or HL7 integration.
- A working knowledge of business processes, data, systems, and BI applications is essential.
- 2+ years in digital healthcare
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience, SQL code is a plus
- Knowledge of technical related systems such as Jira/Confluence is a plus
- 2+ years of clinical terminology knowledge (CPT, HCPC, ICD10, SNOMED)
- 5+ disease management or value based care experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, comprehension and application of concepts.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to compile product requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive
- decision-making.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration, seamlessly integrating clinical expertise with product innovation to deliver impactful solutions.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven ability to navigate complex healthcare priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
