Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

Wood is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to work within the team in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

This position is only open to National EG personnel.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily cleaning operations of an establishment;
• Inspect areas to ensure that furnishings, equipment, and general cleanliness meet established standards;
• Train, supervise and evaluate cleaning staff;
• Prepare work schedules and ensure that housekeeping staff follows them;
• Design and implement cleaning procedures and standards;
• Participate in performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to housekeeping staff;
• Control and monitor department expenses;
• Prepare and submit reports as required;
• Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required;
• Follow company policies and guidelines on vehicle use and code of conduct.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Job Specific Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Several years experience in supervising cleaning work or similar role
• Experience of working in the in the oil & gas industry is preferred

• Ability to communicate in English language, verbal and written
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
