Job description

Back End Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking Senior Backend Engineers with a passion for building best-in-class server-side components to join our team. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for building the core systems and APIs that power our website and mobile applications.

What You’ll Do:

Build highly available, scalable, and reliable server-side components and services.
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Create, optimize, and maintain databases.
Maintain code standards with a special focus on quality, maintainability, and security.
Work closely with frontend engineers and designers to improve the performance and usability of product features.
Collaborate with Product Managers, peers, and leaders to define and deliver product features.
Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.

What You Bring:

6+ years of experience building complex, large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience in TypeScript and/or GoLang.
Experience with the design and implementation of APIs.
Experience with creating, optimizing, and managing databases.
Experience in Nest.js is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
