Job description

This is a remote position.

Are you an experienced Accounting professional with proven US Bookkeeping experience? Do you have experience working for a US company and exposed to US GAAP? Do you have experience doing bank reconciliations, processing invoices, and creating journal entries? Do you consider yourself at an advanced or expert level with Microsoft excel using complex formulas?

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced US Accountant who will be in charge of the whole bookkeeping process of our client. In this role, you are expected to deliver excellence by doing bank reconciliations, processing invoices, and creating journal entries. You must be excellent in using Microsoft Excel and can create complex formulas.

As the US Accountant, you will provide excellence by:
•Recording day to day financial transactions.
•Bringing the books to the trial balance stage.
•Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
•Reconciling all invoices and investigate discrepancies
•Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
•Doing invoice entry and vendor statement reconciliation
•Coding bank transactions and creating journal entries
•Doing bank reconciliation

Requirements
Do you have what it takes to be our Sr. US Accountant?
Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:

•A deep understanding of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for companies in
the USA)
•High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel - must be an expert
•Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years experience in US accounting, or
bookkeeping
• Fluency in English: written & speaking (minimal accent)
•Proactivity in maintaining a timely communication with the client
•Ability to work full-time and work hours in the United States (PST)
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
•High attention to detail
•Work from home or any virtual location with stable and fast internet
