Overview
The Oracle Payroll Senior Consultant position is responsible for leading the implementation and configuration of the Oracle Payroll module for US clients. This role focuses on ensuring that the payroll processes for the client are streamlined and efficient. This role requires expertise in payroll processes, local tax regulations, and system integrations, while providing consultation to business users.
Position Requirements:
The Oracle Cloud Payroll senior consultant must deliver a solution that meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. The responsibilities are highlighted below:
•Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Payroll solutions.
•Customize the Oracle HCM Payroll module to meet the client’s specific payroll needs.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to collect business requirements and translate them into Oracle Payroll functionality.
•Set up the system, including configuring payroll elements, taxes, benefits, and other related components.
•Ensure the efficient execution of payroll cycles, ensuring payments, taxes, and deductions are processed accurately and on time.
•Identify and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
•Conduct system testing and validation of payroll data during CRP and UAT to ensure accurate calculations of taxes, deductions, and benefits.
•Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
•Ensure quality focused documentation for functional designs, functional unit testing, test scripts etc.
•Stay up to date with Oracle HCM Cloud best practices, industry trends, and updates. Recommend and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Experience (must have):
•At least 8+ years of Oracle experience and Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM
•Proven experience in leading Oracle Payroll implementations and handling complex payroll projects.
•In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Payroll and related Oracle modules.
•Implementations lead for 5+ Oracle Cloud HCM projects including hands-on configuration.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
•Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, conference room pilots (CRPs), functional configuration, testing, client user training.
•Ability to work with Highstreet onshore and offshore functional and technical staff
•Oracle Certified in Cloud Payroll

•Lead role for payroll parallel testing.
