Content Creator (REMOTE)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview: We are looking for a talented Content Creator to join our team and take charge of refurbishing and creating blog content to drive our digital presence. This role involves refreshing old blog posts and crafting new ones while ensuring all content is SEO-optimized and engaging for our audience. Youll play a crucial role in building our content library and improving its relevance and performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Blog Refurbishment:
   • Review and edit 200-400 existing blog posts currently in Word documents.
   • Refresh outdated content, improve readability, and ensure SEO optimization.
   • Republish refurbished blogs on our new website.
2. New Blog Creation:
   • Write one to two new blogs per week, maintaining a high standard of quality and alignment with our brand voice.
   • Research relevant topics to produce engaging and informative content for our target audience.
3. SEO & Optimization:
   • Conduct keyword research to ensure all blog posts are optimized for search engines.
   • Implement best practices for on-page SEO, including meta descriptions, alt text, and internal linking.
4. Content Strategy:
   • Collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with our overall marketing strategy and goals.
   • Use refurbished blogs as a learning tool to understand our business and products deeply.
5. Editing & Proofreading:
   • Ensure all content is free from grammatical errors and meets high editorial standards.
   • Maintain consistency in style and tone across all blog posts.

Qualifications:

• Strong copywriting and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
• Proven experience in content creation, particularly blogs and articles.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of our industry or willingness to learn and understand our business and products through content refurbishment.
