HALO is looking for a Product Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting that is responsible for working with internal stakeholders and customers to understand their data needs and translating them into a product vision and roadmap. They will focus on delivering data-driven solutions, leveraging technologies like Snowflake and Tableau, while balancing strategic product management with hands-on execution.


Strategy: Define the product strategy and road mapping for analytics and reporting with all relevant stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to identify trends, drive decision-making, and support actionable recommendations across the organization.

Technical Expertise: Partner with Data Engineering to design and build scalable data solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, and other relevant tools.

Collaboration: Successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, aligning cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.

Project Management: Plan and manage tasks, and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution of analytics-driven projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Define product requirements and success metrics for analytics and reporting tools aligned with company goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Partner with Engineering to design, develop, and deliver scalable data products leveraging Snowflake, Tableau, and other analytics technologies.
  • Build and manage a backlog of prioritized features and enhancements, focusing on analytics and reporting needs.
  • Identify key KPIs and OKRs, create dashboards, and perform data analysis to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Author detailed use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for analytics-driven product solutions.
  • Evangelize the analytics product vision to internal stakeholders, ensuring adoption and alignment.
  • Perform and coordinate software acceptance testing and validate data integrity and accuracy.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, iteration reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and support post-implementation validation for analytics features.
  • Mentor team members on Agile best practices and promote a data-first culture within the organization.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving adoption and success with analytics solutions in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL; ability to query, transform, and analyze data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver data-driven solutions that align with business needs.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including hands-on facilitation of Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Aptitude to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Capable of facilitating communication between stakeholders from all levels of the organization while objectively identifying and resolving conflict.
  • Strong work ethic, good humored with a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Values curiosity, creativity, inclusive teams, and achieving results.
  • Problem solver that is comfortable making judgment calls how to spend time.
  • Loves learning by providing, receiving and responding positively to constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and optimizing reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures.
  • Familiarity with HTML or web-based technologies is a plus.

 

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
