Job description

WTW is a leading advisory, broking, and solutions company with a storied history dating back to 1828. From the Titanic in 1912 to supporting the Moon Buggy in 1971, we have a legacy of turning risk into growth opportunities. Are you ready to take your career to the next level?

WTW’s Global Finance Analytics CoE (GFA CoE) is a centralized Finance function looking for a Delivery Lead to join our team. In this role, you’ll drive business value by becoming a trusted advisor, partnering closely with the Business and the broader Finance Leadership team to continue executing GFA CoE’s strategic vision – building data, analytics, planning, and forecasting capabilities and solutions on a global scale. You will work to evolve the CoE’s strategy, establish robust governance, manage demand, develop new solutions, and deliver tangible business outcomes by activating and bringing cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams together.

GFA CoE is a crucial element of Finance’s strategy to become more strategic and integrated function, while being more agile in deploying innovative capabilities for WTW globally. Success in this role is defined by one’s ability to turn strategy, ideas, and challenges into priorities and a portfolio of process, technology, and operational solutions. In addition, success is marked by one’s ability to foster a culture of teamwork, to operate with a global perspective, and to position the GFA CoE teams for future success.

An ideal candidate will have a background in global enterprise transformations and collaborate closely with Business, Finance leaders, and other functional leaders (e.g., Operations, HR, Technology) to achieve desired business outcomes. The Finance function serves both internal and external customers: colleagues within our company, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, suppliers, and regulatory agencies around the world.

The role is expected to work frequently during US EST or UK GMT time zone. Some in-office meetings may be required.

Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.

The Role:

  • Act as a CoE thought leader, strategic partner, demand management liaison, and delivery lead for the day-to-day coordination and execution of CoE activities
  • Lead strategy sessions, solution designs, and project management efforts for the GFA CoE; assuring initiatives align with the Company’s and the CoE’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations to help clearly articulate strategic roadmaps, risks and issues, key design decisions, and change management efforts.
  • Partner with Finance Leadership team to install a robust governance to ensure continued evolution, maturation and integrity of the Finance operating model
  • Mobilize and manage cross-functional teams to turn initial ideas into strategic priorities and deliver end solutions with change and go-live support.
  • Proactively drive change management activities to ensure wide adoption and acceptance of CoE’s solutions and capabilities. Engage leaders to assess, communicate, and implement changes.
  • Responsible for leading the operational efforts by cultivating talent, optimizing operational performance, reporting out KPIs, and embedding operational best practices as part of the CoE.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle – from business requirements to specialist capabilities solutions focused on data, insight, analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Accountable for the integrity and quality of key outputs and the strategic direction of the CoE based on the demands of the businesses and Finance to support WTW’s growth strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance professionals across the centers, fostering a culture of one team, growth mindset, excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, CoE leaders, operations leaders, and technology leaders to help design and develop tangible solutions for the business.
  • Continuously manage specific initiatives based on designs, roadmaps, work plans, actions, decisions, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Anticipate roadblocks and deadlines, and activate leadership as required to outline a clear path to success. Proactively address issues before they impact project outcomes and results.
