Job Description
To provide audit services to Certification programs and other NSF clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monitoring and initial audits.
- Manage enforcement issues stemming from certification audits
- Provide a timely response to corrective actions proposed by NSF clients.
- Conduct special visits to investigate product failures and verify the implementation of corrective actions taken by NSF clients.
- Investigate and resolve complaints
- Develop cost-effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with program representatives and project managers as it relates to assigned clients
- Monitor and report client needs, service delivery issues, and competitive threats to the management team.
- Develop business by responding to inquiries, conducting introductory visits, conducting seminars, and attending conferences in support of NSF’s business units (as authorized).
- Support NSF’s business units by assisting clients in the identification of additional NSF services that may be beneficial (examples – new products for certification, test-only services, quality system registration).
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, environmental health, related science, or business.
- Two (2) years related industry auditing experience.
- Work experience as a qualified IATF 16949 Lead auditor.
- Ability to work independently from remote (home based) location.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a profession registration (environmental health, engineering, or related profession).
- Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
