Job Description

To provide audit services to Certification programs and other NSF clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monitoring and initial audits.
  • Manage enforcement issues stemming from certification audits
  • Provide a timely response to corrective actions proposed by NSF clients.
  • Conduct special visits to investigate product failures and verify the implementation of corrective actions taken by NSF clients.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints
  • Develop cost-effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with program representatives and project managers as it relates to assigned clients
  • Monitor and report client needs, service delivery issues, and competitive threats to the management team.
  • Develop business by responding to inquiries, conducting introductory visits, conducting seminars, and attending conferences in support of NSF’s business units (as authorized).
  • Support NSF’s business units by assisting clients in the identification of additional NSF services that may be beneficial (examples – new products for certification, test-only services, quality system registration).
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, environmental health, related science, or business.
  • Two (2) years related industry auditing experience.
  • Work experience as a qualified IATF 16949 Lead auditor.
  • Ability to work independently from remote (home based) location.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a profession registration (environmental health, engineering, or related profession).
  • Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
