Job description

Granicus is needing CMS Developers for our remote, Costa Rica, SimpleView team. In this exciting role you will get the chance to do aa variety of CMS-development related tasks. CMS Developers are responsible for setting up, modifying and building database driven internet applications. This position requires an advanced level understanding of HTML, Server Side Programming concepts, T-Sql, JavaScript. This position is expected to develop an advanced understanding of ColdFusion programming language and the Simpleview CMS. The CMS Developer is responsible for integrating and building error free applications while maintaining on time delivery of all tasks. This position works under the direction of the CMS Lead Developer.

What your impact will look like here -

Work with a CMS Lead Developer to complete client contracts and projects

Work with CMS Project Manager to receive appropriate application data from clients

Set up all applications within the CMS tool for each project

Create CMS admin tools and widgets as required for project

Test all completed work to ensure proper and error free functionality

Complete all programming tasks while following company code standards

Complete and respond to all change requests from client, CMS Project Manager or CMS Lead Developer

Manage timelines in order to provide on time delivery for all work

Update all ticket and project notes and statuses daily within the internal SimpleView CRM system

Maintain accurate time records

Maintain open communication with CMS Lead Developer and/or CMS Project Manager on all project tasks

Advanced HTML Coding and debugging

Advanced knowledge of server side coding, while mastering ColdFusion

Solid understanding of JavaScript with a focus on Jquery

Solid understanding of CSS

Solid understanding of T-Sql and the ability to write complex queries

Ability to modify pre-built applications in order to meet detailed customer requirements

Develop the ability to integrate new and pre-built ColdFusion applications into our existing CMS system

Develop an understanding of the SimpleView CRM application and how it integrates with SimpleView CMS

Ability to work within a team environment
