Senior AWS Engineer

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture & Design:
   
   • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
     
   • Develop architectural diagrams and documentation for cloud solutions.
     
2. Deployment & Automation:
   
   • Automate deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
     
   • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
     
3. Infrastructure Management:
   
   • Manage and monitor AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
     
   • Optimize cloud costs and ensure resources align with budget constraints.
     
4. Security & Compliance:
   
   • Ensure cloud environments meet industry-standard security and compliance guidelines.
     
   • Implement robust IAM policies and secure network configurations.
     
5. Collaboration & Support:
   
   • Collaborate with development teams to integrate AWS solutions into applications.
     
   • Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments.
     

• Experience: 5+ years as an AWS Engineer or Cloud Architect.
  
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional/Associate) or similar.
  
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda).
    
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
    
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes (EKS).
    
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or other relevant programming languages.
  
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based issues.
  
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
