Job Summary

As the QA Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of our products by addressing immediate challenges and laying the groundwork for long-term scalability. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic oversight with execution, focusing on user experience and performance (95%), while also maintaining a baseline focus on security and compliance (5%).

You will work closely with the CEO, development team, and stakeholders to identify gaps, improve processes, and explore automation to elevate product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy and Leadership

  • Define and implement a QA strategy focused on reducing customer-reported bugs.
  • Evaluate existing QA processes and propose improvements for immediate and long-term needs.
  • Set a vision for integrating automation into the QA process.

Hands-On Testing and Process Optimization

  • Conduct manual testing to identify issues in user experience, performance, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and prioritize fixes.
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of test automation tools.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Establish and track quality metrics, with a focus on customer-reported bugs and issue resolution.
  • Provide regular reports to the CEO on progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between development and customer support to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance on scaling QA efforts as the development team grows, including hiring or external partnerships.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in quality assurance, with a focus on UX and performance testing
  • SaaS Expertise: Proven experience working in a SaaS environment is crucial.
  • US Healthcare Experience: Proven experience catering to customers in the US Healthcare market
  • Testing Expertise: Strong background in manual testing; experience with automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Healthcare Familiarity (Bonus): Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA) or workflows is a plus.
