We’re on the lookout for a Product Importer to join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!
The Challenge
As we grow and open more stores, we need a Product Importer to help expand our product catalog efficiently. In this role, you'll import products into our Shopify stores and create compelling product pages that drive sales. Success requires familiarity with Shopify listing processes and tools like Kopy and DSers and the ability to precisely manage high volumes of imports. Your work will support our expanding operations and ensure seamless product launches.
Day in the Life of a Product Importer at GT Ecom
- Import new products into our Shopify store, ensuring accurate product details, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Create and optimize product pages with compelling descriptions, images, and attributes to enhance customer engagement and conversions.
- Monitor and update inventory levels, coordinating with relevant teams for restocking when needed.
- Regularly review and maintain data accuracy across product listings, promptly addressing any errors or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure product pages align with brand guidelines and are visually appealing.
- Utilize tools like Shopify, Kopy, and DSers to streamline product listing processes, manage order fulfillment, and update import and research reports regularly.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to product performance, inventory, and trends to support decision-making.
Drivers of Success for this role
- Achieve daily and monthly import targets for assigned brands, contributing to the overall team targets.
- Maintain high accuracy in imports and QA checks, minimizing errors to ensure seamless product data integration.

Work alongside 15 amazing and talented team members from France, Germany, Pakistan, and the Philippines, all working remotely but closely together to elevate and boost our Bulk stores. We would love to hear from you if…
- You have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role working for an ecommerce company, specifically in the dropshipping model
- You have at least 6 months of experience working with Shopify and similar product import tools like Kopy, DSers, Spocket, or Zendrop
- You have proven expertise in data gathering and reporting, particularly using Excel or Google Sheet
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in product listings and reports
- Proactive and able to take initiative in identifying and solving issues
- Prior experience in a similar role is essential
