Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled SQL Engineer to manage and optimize critical database systems for a leading financial institution. You'll ensure reliability, security, and performance while supporting technical teams and driving key projects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize SQL database systems, backups, and jobs.
• Monitor alerts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Support disaster recovery planning and apply security updates.
• Collaborate with teams on database design and technical guidance.
• Manage capacity, compliance, and performance tuning.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise SQL systems, backups, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of database security, compliance, and troubleshooting.
