Overview

The SAP ABAP Consultant with BTP and RAP experience is critical in our organization, focusing on developing and enhancing enterprise applications on the SAP platform. This specialist will leverage their expertise in ABAP programming, Business Technology Platform (BTP), and the Rapid Application Programming (RAP) model to drive innovative solutions that align with our business goals. The role is integral to ensuring that our applications maintain high standards of performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports.
Implement BTP services to enhance business processes.
Utilize RAP to build modern applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
Conducted system analysis, troubleshot issues, and optimized existing code.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather and refine requirements.
Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
Develop technical documentation for customizations and enhancements.
Work on data modeling and database design.
Implement REST and OData services for seamless application integration.
Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is required.
Proficiency in Rapid Application Programming (RAP) model.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI).
Experience in developing and consuming OData services.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI technologies is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
