Synthomer Group is seeking a future Talent Acquisition Partner to act as the tip of the spear for talent attraction, assessment, and selection with the business.  In this role, you will partner with business leaders and HR Partner at all levels to develop and implement recruitment strategies throughout North America.

Primary Responsibilities…

  • Partners with managers at various levels to provide full life cycle recruiting services. Develops and executes strategies to source and select the best talent in the market while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manages a diverse requisition load, which often requires sourcing passive candidates from various channels.
  • Partners with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers while serving as an advisor during the selection process.
  • Develops a deep understanding of assigned positions and business needs by identifying required skills, experience, competencies and other intangible job profile preferences.
  • Develops and implement effective, leading edge sourcing strategies by leveraging a range of sources, relevant to the job, such as universities, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, Google search and other social media.
  • Identifies and builds talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Maintains regular meetings with Synthomer’s HR Leaders to provide key recruiting data, challenges and successes.
  • Lead and support Talent Acquisition projects.

What we need from you…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Communications, Human Resources, technical or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a professional setting, ideally within a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment or HR function
  • Demonstrated learning agility, drive for results, customer focus, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Exceptional drive for results, client service orientation, and communication skills  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft and convey an employee value proposition
  • Demonstrated alignment with Synthomer’s values: Safety, Accountability, Agility, and Integrity
  • Willing to travel quarterly to the Mogadore, OH and Jefferson Hills, PA sites that this individual will support

Qualifications that can set you apart… 

  • Have worked on developing a Recruitment Marketing Plan
  • Experience developing social media recruiting plan
  • Experience developing a University Relations recruiting plan
  • Employer branding marketing experience
  • Willing to work on special projects related to Talent Development & DE&I initiatives
  • Ability to think outside the recruiting box to come up with innovative ways to support the business

Synthomer may supplement that internal capability from time to time with assistance from temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters. Agencies are hereby specifically directed NOT to contact Synthomer employees directly in an attempt to present candidates – Synthomer's recruiting team or other authorized Synthomer personnel must present ALL candidates to hiring managers. Agencies must obtain advance written approval from Synthomer’s recruiting function to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully-executed contract for service and in response to a specific job opening. Synthomer will not pay a fee to any agency that does not have such agreement in place.
