The Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team at Thomson Reuters is responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of strategic partnerships and alliances. From strategy development, through assessment, recruitment, negotiation, onboarding, launch and ongoing management; the Partnerships & Alliances team oversees numerous partnerships working collaboratively in a variety of commercial models.

The Director is responsible for leading a team of Partnerships Managers and Partner Associates focused on supporting the achievement of our sales objectives by collaborating with numerous external partners. About the Role
In this role as Director of Partnerships & Alliances, you will:
- Define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for both individual partners and group production, overseeing execution against those metrics
- Develop strategies for optimizing the day-to-day management of a diverse group of partners
- Address challenges and issues arising from partner engagement, minimizing customer impact while balancing stakeholder needs and expectations
- Work with Training and Partner Enablement to establish baseline knowledge materials to support marketing, sales, implementation, and/or support efforts
- Work with Sales leaders, managers, and contributors to coordinate partner efforts
- Ensure effective communication of product strategy and enhancements to partners
About You
You’re a fit for the Director of Partnerships & Alliances if your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in Partner& Alliance Management, relationship management or related field
- 8+ years’ Global industry experience at a minimum working for or selling into software/SaaS companies
- Experience managing a team
- Proven track record of driving sales through partnership channels across technology and services industries
- Deep understanding of the AI and software technology landscape, including current trends and competitive dynamics
- Proven experience in leveraging AI to forecast market changes, evaluate partner stability, and predict partnership success.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and financial data to make informed decisions that enhance profitability and sustainability."
- Expert business case and financial modeling skills
- Ability to effectively navigate and perform in dynamic environments and periodically travel to meet with partners or attend partner events
- Experience working with global systems integrators and global accounting and consulting firms
- Understanding of competitor and customer landscape and trends across Thomson Reuters industry verticals
- Experience and proven success at leading complex, strategic negotiations, and delivery on subsequent agreements a plus
- Strong C-suite engagement skills and track record
- Expert technology acumen; deep understanding of current technology trends and market drivers

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $173,300 - $321,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $157,500 - $292,500. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
