As a Project Manager II, you'll play a key role in overseeing complex initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring that all project goals align with organizational objectives. You’ll work closely with teams across our matrix organizational structure, managing timelines, resources, and risks while continuously keeping stakeholders informed and engaged. Your expertise in project management methodologies will be essential as you navigate challenges and deliver value at every stage. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to ensure CET’s competitive advantage, deliver unique value to our clients and customers, and drive production efficiencies.
In this position, you will:
- Oversee the implementation of assigned programs.
- Serve as the client representative for some programs, keeping the client informed and engaged as appropriate.
- Communicate personnel and other resource needs to appropriate parts of the organization for successful program delivery.
- Monitor progress against contract deliverables, program goals, key performance indicators, and budgets. Develops client reports.
- Adjust tactics to respond to changes in program requirements, personnel, or methods.
- Analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
- Contribute to the development of the departmental budget and operational strategies.
- Monitor marketplace dynamics, including competitive and complementary programming, evolving policy landscapes, and changing customer and client needs.
- Represent CET at planning and program meetings with customers, clients, and other partners.
You will bring the following to this position:
- A strong interest in CET's mission.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven project management success, preferably working within a matrix structure, or professional project management training with less on-the-job experience.
- Expertise in heat pump technology and experience in event management to support specialized initiatives.
- Experience with energy efficiency initiatives; BPI and CEM certifications preferred.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience.
- A strong ability to work with and navigate relationships across diverse clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written, phone, email, and verbal.
- Ability to set clear goals and create a team environment.
- Experience managing an agile team that thrives in a dynamic environment, with shifting priorities and evolving tasks.
- Ability to problem-solve and respond proactively to programmatic and personnel changes with the ability to iterate and adapt quickly.
- Track record of leading through example to inspire others.
- A self-directed work style that is flexible, creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and CRM software are required, Salesforce experience is preferred.
This is a remote position located in the Northeast, with occasional travel to Massachusetts. Remote employees must have high-speed internet access and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
At CET, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation range in the job posting reflects the range of pay available for this role. Individual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
CET provides you with excellent benefits, including 4 weeks of vacation, 13 holidays, and personal/sick time; medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; and a retirement plan with a 3% company match. CET provides a monthly $85 stipend for your home internet and/or phone expenses.
