Hybrid working with 1 day at the office
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Competitive salary + benefits

Marshalls PLC is a market leader in the manufacturing and supply of superior natural stone and innovative concrete hard landscaping products, supplying the construction, home improvement and landscape markets. Our Marshalls mission is ‘Creating Better Spaces’; we’ve been awarded the Superbrand status since 2010 and are a successful FTSE250. Every step we take, every product we make, is geared towards making the world around us a better place to live.

We're not just hiring; we're building a team that puts people first. At Marshalls, our HR team is the heart of our business. We're seeking a Reward Analyst to join our team and make a real impact! You'll play a crucial role in providing specialist Reward and data support, driving the People Plan and shaping strategies across our business areas.

Focusing on the day-to-day Reward activity and supporting the wider team, you will play a critical part in the delivery of our reward plan and help ensure our colleagues get maximum value from their benefits package.

The Reward Analyst will provide data insights and reports to stakeholders on compensation, benefits, and rewards, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning, and will support the HRIS team to enhance and maintain the reporting capability needed by the business.

So, What’s the Mission?

Your mission is to:

  • Enhance our Reward processes: Support key activities such as pay reviews and benefits renewals, and own job evaluations and key reporting such as Gender Pay Gap, while keeping our Reward offering competitive.
  • Leverage data: Identify trends, deliver insights, and provide actionable recommendations to support HR and business strategies.
  • Drive improvements: Simplify processes, challenge inefficiencies, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Support the team: Act as a trusted advisor on Reward principles, work well with suppliers, and handle legislative changes with confidence.

Mission Critical Skills

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Knows Reward: Has experience in a Reward role or HR generalist role with exposure to Reward processes, including job evaluation, pay reviews, and employee benefits.
  • Loves data: Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPS, IF formulas). Power BI experience is a plus, or you’re ready to learn!
  • Communicates effectively: Tailors complex data and insights to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders, HR teams, and employees.
  • Collaborates and adapts: Builds strong relationships, thrives in a changing environment, and manages competing priorities with ease.
  • Continuously improves: Challenges inefficiencies, proposes solutions, and demonstrates a proactive mindset.

What’s in it for you?
At Marshalls, we don't just build paths; we pave the way for personal and professional growth. Join us and create a future where your skills and ambitions can flourish!

  • Growth and development: We’re committed to helping you enhance your skills, including Power BI training.
  • Impact: Your insights and contributions will directly shape business decisions and improve the employee experience.
  • Supportive culture: Work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, agility, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Enjoy a competitive benefits package, including opportunities to manage year-round benefits like Cycle to Work and Payroll Giving.
  • Exciting projects: Be part of strategic initiatives such as incentive schemes, competency pay frameworks, and ensuring our benefits package is competitive

Some of our benefits include:

  • Hybrid working with 1 day a week at our Head Office in Elland (Wednesday), but more if you like!
  • Guaranteed Christmas holidays
  • Development opportunities
  • 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Health care cash plan – support with Dental, Optical, Prescription costs and many more!
  • Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption pay and leave
  • 5% employer-matched pension scheme
  • Free onsite parking
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee discount on products
