100% remote

Job Description: 
  • Individual will be responsible for request for records, scheduling appointments at provider offices for the retrieval, performing on-site retrieval of records at practice group locations and review and abstraction of specific medical record data related to HEDIS hybrid measures.
  • The records will be obtained via scanning, copying, office EMR system, downloading on secure encrypted ironkey, or other electronic means.
  • The data will be entered into a HEDIS software system after complete and accurate review.
  • He/she will represent client in professional manner. Individual should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and medical record review experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required, and experience with electronic data transfer and use of removal media device is desired.
  • Professional appearance, current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for project participation, unless deemed for abstraction of records only.
Qualification: 
  • Must have active RN license in the state of Tennessee
  • HEDIS experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in chart review/chart abstraction preferred
  • Regional travel involved
  • Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills required
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required
  • Must successfully complete the training program offered, and meet & maintain acceptable performance goals
