Job Description

Are you passionate about sports and social media? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Specialist to lead our digital marketing efforts and take our online presence to the next level. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement and attract new members
  • Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, with a focus on Facebook and Instagram
  • Design eye-catching graphics and edit dynamic videos that showcase our athletes and programs
  • Manage our social media presence, ensuring consistent posting and timely responses to community interactions
  • Implement and monitor social media campaigns to promote club events and recruitment drives
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and best practices, particularly those relevant to sports and youth audiences
  • Collaborate with club leadership to align social media efforts with overall business goals
  • Engage with our community through comments, messages, and interactive content, fostering a strong online presence

Requirements
  • 4+ years of proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in a sports-related field
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, with expertise in Facebook and Instagram
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand messages
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
  • Background or passionate interest in sports, ideally cheerleading or gymnastics
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visually appealing content that resonates with young athletes and their families
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy
  • Adaptability and willingness to stay updated on emerging social media trends and features
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the club’s values in online interactions
